Excellent performance for IBB Polonia London

Sunday was the day for the encounter between IBB Polonia London and Team Sunderland. The team from London confidently took another 3-0 win and notched up the second win of the year.

Last week IBB Polonia London made short work of Leeds Gorse Men 3:0 (25:20,25:17,25:15). Sunday was another excellent outing as strong favourites, based on table positions. The match was played with excellent concentration and intensity, and IBB Polonia were able to quickly establish a rhythm that caused their opponents problems and resulted in a large margin of points between the teams.

-I thought yesterday’s game was really good in terms of consistency. We came and did our job. Everybody was focused from the beginning. – said Godi Jibi after the game.

Following the match, IBB Polonia London were still in second place behind leaders Durham Palatinates; the next match is an important one with the current top team in the National Cup.

-Now our biggest challenge stands in front of us with Durham Palatines coming to our home gym next week, so everything that we’ve been preparing for including the matches against Leeds and recently Sunderland will translate into hopefully a strong, consistent performance and win against our biggest rivals of the year.- concluded middle blocker.
