From Nysa to London, from Polish 1st League glory to the heart of British volleyball – another ace joins the ranks of our Polish Hussars! Welcome to the team, Dawid!
IBB Polonia London proudly welcomes another Polish warrior to its ranks! This time, Dawid Bułkowski, an experienced outside hitter and a true product of Polish volleyball, joins our squad.
Bułkowski began his senior volleyball journey at just 16 years old, signing his first professional contract with AZS PWSZ Nysa. Over an impressive 16-year career in Poland’s competitive 1st League, he showcased his skills while playing for top clubs such as AZS Stal Nysa, KPS Siedlce, and UKS Mickiewicz Kluczbork.
His most notable achievements came with AZS Stal Nysa, the club where his volleyball journey began. Dawid won three medals in the Polish 1st League with his hometown team: a gold medal in the 2011/2012 season, becoming a 1st League champion, and silver medals in the 2014/2015 and 2018/2019 seasons.
In addition to his indoor volleyball success, Dawid also gained valuable experience in beach volleyball, securing 3rd place in a qualifying tournament for the Polish Championships in 2015.
What makes this signing even more special is that Dawid has a long-standing connection with our current head coach, Bartosz Kisielewicz. The two previously played together in the same team, and now, as a friend, Dawid comes to support us in this important moment.
