On June 4th at Wembley Stadium, IBB Polonia London and London Elite Basketball officially launched an exciting new youth development project combining elite-level sports training with high-quality education for student-athletes aged 16–19.
This one-of-a-kind initiative is designed to help young volleyball and basketball players succeed both on the court and in the classroom — opening the door to better careers, stronger foundations, and brighter futures.
Three Schools, Three Pathways
We’ve partnered with three trusted educational institutions across London, offering tailored study options that match your goals and lifestyle:
Harris Lowe Academy Willesden – This school supports students aged 16-19 with a wide selection of A-Level and BTEC courses. It’s a high-performance academic environment where future leaders and champions are built. The staff are committed to helping each student thrive in both academics and sport. If you’re aiming high – this is your place.
Global Institute of Sport (GIS) – GIS offers a unique opportunity to combine top-tier education with a European-level training environment. Students will benefit from high-quality coaching while studying NCFE Level 3 courses in sport, performance, or personal development. GIS provides a focused space for athletes who want to excel in all areas.
West London College – With campuses in Ealing, Hammersmith, and Southall, West London College has over 150 years of experience supporting students across the capital. The college delivers practical, job-focused qualifications (such as BTEC, UAL, and City & Guilds) as well as T Levels and apprenticeships. It’s ideal for students looking for flexible, real-world academic routes.
A New Home for Talent
Both clubs will share a brand-new, centrally located 540-seat arena that will host all home matches.
The venue pairs modern facilities with a fan-first design, featuring IBB’s signature full-LED match-presentation system — bringing European-standard atmosphere to every match, with lights, visuals, sound, and full event production.
One System. Many Opportunities.
Athletes joining the programme will benefit from a unified training framework across both sports. Club sessions will align with the school schedule to support a consistent and balanced development pathway. Whether you’re aiming for a national team or just want to pursue your sport while studying — this system has the flexibility and support you need.
