It has been a faultless start to the 2023/24 season. Three wins in the Super League and progression to the next round of the National Cup; it looks like it’s going to be a good month!
In the first league game of the season, Greg Niski’s team took on Leeds Gorse and came away with three points. In the next fixture, played at home, it was Team Sunderland who couldn’t keep up with the quality of IBB Polonia London. The MVP was awarded to Dahmane Bentiti. That was the final preparation before the encounter with the current Champions of England: Durham Palatinates. In the weekend just gone, one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of the season took place against Durham. Andrea Maggio and his team mates, rolled over the team from the north and carried on their 100% record. Mihail Stoev was rightfully awarded MVP of the game.
The entry into the National Cup was against local team London Wildkats; the game finished with IBB Polonia purring after their quick 3:0 against the “kats”.
