The second and final round of the U14 Grand Prix was contested over the weekend. Among them, IBB Polonia London Junior Academy participated in girls Pool C and Boys (Open) Pool A competition, where the mixed team of boys and girls managed to lock up a final against the hosts and secure the silver medals in the pool.
Established in September 2023, the IBB Polonia London Junior Academy has swiftly made its mark, demonstrating remarkable performance not only in training but also on the competitive stage.
The tournament, played as 4 v 4 matches, prioritized skill development and enjoyment, fostering a vibrant atmosphere where young talents could thrive. Coach Mihail Stoev, reflecting on the event, described it as an emotional rollercoaster, where teams experienced highs and lows, creating an unforgettable experience for players, parents, and coaches alike. The parity among teams added to the excitement, culminating in a buzzing atmosphere during the final games.
The new addition to the IBB Polonia Londin and Pro Volley Academy pathway, IBB Polonia London Junior Academy create opportunity for a volleyball enthusiasts aged 12-16 to get involved in volleyball in early age. Practices and competitions are appropriate for very beginners as well as advance players who are looking to excel their skill.
